About me

Healthcare professional in scrubs standing in a hospital hallway, arms crossed.
  • I studied medicine at Cambridge University and St George’s University of London, graduating in 2012 winning multiple undergraduate prizes including the British Pharmacological Society Prize. I completed my early resident doctor training in South Wales, where I grew up before moving to the North West to complete my surgical training, throughout the North West of England. I was admitted as a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons England in 2021, achieving my Certificate of Completion of Training in 2022. I subsequently completed a subspecialty fellowship training in Otology with Professor Jaydip Ray in Sheffield. I have been a consultant ENT Surgeon at Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh Hospitals since June 2023.

I have also completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Medical Education, graduating with Distinction, helping me to take an active role in the development and training of tomorrow’s doctors and surgeons.

  • In addition to my clinical work, I also hold the following additional roles:

    • Paediatric Lead in ENT, WWL NHS Foundation Trust

    • Trust Specialty Training Lead in ENT, WWL NHS Foundation Trust

    • Governance Lead in ENT Surgery, WWL NHS Foundation Trust

    • Trust lead for ENT at the Greater Manchester ENT Clinical Reference Group

    • Principal Investigator in TALGITS and STARFISH trials

    • Honarary Senior Lecture, Edge Hill University

  • I am a proud father to two young boys and love to spend my time with my family, enjoying the green spaces we are fortunate to have in abundance around Lancashire and Cheshire.

I am passionate about the environment; I feel strongly that it is important to look after our world for our following generations to enjoy.

When I am not in the clinic, operating theatre or on Daddy duty, you will likely find me on a Padel court near you!
